Hanger The Guy is a physics-based swinging game where players use ropes to navigate dangerous obstacles, collect coins, and reach the finish line.

Gameplay

In Hanger The Guy, you control a ragdoll character swinging on a grappling hook, reaching the finish line to complete the level. Along the way, you will encounter large gaps, walls, spikes, and complex structures. To overcome them, you need to time your release of the grappling hook perfectly, attaching to a new point and continuing to swing forward.

The controls in Hanger The Guy are quite easy to learn. Tap the screen to have your character shoot the grappling hook to a point ahead. When your character swings through a gap, you can release the grappling hook at the right moment to attach to another point. However, releasing too early or too late can cause your character to fall or hit an obstacle.

In each level, you can also collect gold coins scattered along the way. These coins are important rewards as they can be used to unlock various interesting in-game content.

Boosters and upgrades

Support tools

To help players overcome more difficult levels, Hanger The Guy offers several special support tools. These tools are completely free and can be unlocked by clicking on the corresponding icon and watching the advertising video.

The useful tool is Magnet Coin. When activated, this magnet will automatically attract gold coins near the character, making it easier to collect money without having to move precisely over each coin.

The second tool is Iron Guy. When used, the character will become more durable for a period of time. This reduces the impact of collisions with obstacles, increasing the chance of survival and completing the level.

Finally, there is Regen Reptile. This tool can help the character partially regenerate their body if damaged during movement. This gives you a chance to continue your journey without failing immediately.

Appearance upgrades

Besides completing levels, Hanger The Guy also allows you to customize your character's appearance. The main character can change into many different outfits to create their own style. You can buy outfits in the game's store using the gold coins you have collected during gameplay.

The game has three main types of outfits:

• Common: Basic outfits that are inexpensive and easy to unlock.
• Rare: Rare outfits with more unique designs.
• Epic: Special outfits with striking styles and higher prices.

Unlocking outfits not only makes the character look more interesting but also motivates players to continue conquering levels.

Is this a horror game?

No. Hanger The Guy is not a horror game. It is a lighthearted entertainment game with fun and challenging gameplay. However, due to the ragdoll physics, if the character crashes hard into the ceiling, floor, or obstacles, some of its body parts may detach, giving it a slightly quirky appearance.

This makes the character look gruesome for a moment, but it is a humorous effect of the game. Therefore, you need to control the character skillfully to avoid strong collisions, keeping the character intact until reaching the finish line and completing the level perfectly.
