Body Drop

About Body Drop

Body Drop is a physics-based ragdoll destruction game where you throw balls at a crash test ragdoll to cause maximum damage and unlock new environments.

Objectives

In each Body Drop level, a ragdoll stands somewhere on a structure such as a platform, building edge, or mechanical device. You need to knock the ragdoll over and make it collide with surrounding objects to inflict the highest possible damage. Higher levels of damage will reward you with more points.

How to control

Body Drop is easy to learn and suitable for players of all ages.

  • Move the mouse: Aim at the ragdoll or surrounding objects
  • Left mouse click: Throw a ball at the ragdoll
  • Hold down the left mouse click: Throw multiple balls continuously
  • Mouse scroll wheel: Zoom in or out to better observe the environment

In most levels, players receive two or three balls to throw, so each throw must be used carefully to create the greatest impact.

Scoring system

Points in Body Drop are calculated based on the total damage the ragdoll takes. The game tracks injuries, including fractures and impact areas on the ragdoll's body. When a body part is severely damaged, it turns red in the damage diagram, indicating the location of the injury.

Players must strategically think about target locations so that the ragdoll collides with as many objects as possible.

Diverse environments

The most interesting feature of Body Drop is the variety of environments. The game features 22 different environments, each with its own unique structure and hazards.

Players start with only one basic map unlocked. To access new environments, they must accumulate enough points by damaging the ragdoll. The higher the level, the more points are needed to unlock it.

Each environment features various layouts and obstacles, making the gameplay fresh and challenging. Some environments include:

  • Construction platforms with scaffolding and high free-fall areas
  • Manufacturing zones surrounded by steel structures and industrial machines
  • Urban rooftops where dummies can fall from extreme heights
  • Obstacle courses with ramps, blocks, and bouncing surfaces

Because each environment has a unique design, players must adapt their strategy for each level.

Tips for inflicting more damage

If you want to score higher in Body Drop, simply throwing the ball randomly is not enough. The key is understanding the physics and using the environment effectively.

Aim for the head or legs

Hitting the ragdoll's head or legs often causes it to lose balance faster, resulting in a hard fall and collisions with multiple objects.

Use height to your advantage

The higher the ragdoll falls, the greater the impact force. Try to push the ragdoll off high platforms or rooftops to maximize damage. Create a chain reaction

Instead of aiming directly at the body each time, try hitting nearby structures so the ragdoll is pushed into multiple obstacles in quick succession.

Observe the environment beforehand

Before throwing the first ball, take some time to study the map. Identifying slopes, edges, and obstacles can help you plan your attack more effectively.
